A discussion on the theme ‘Punjabi Literature and Media’ was organized by the Amrita Pritam Literary Society of the Punjabi Department and the Department of Mass Communication and Video Production of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, under the guidance of the IQAC. The main objective of this activity was to enlighten students about Punjabi literature and media, and to make them aware of the interconnections between the two. On this occasion, students shared their views on television dramas and films that were based on various literary genres of Punjabi literature, such as novels, short stories, and plays. Students from different streams participated in the activity with great enthusiasm.
President of the institution, Sh. Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Sh. Vinod Dada, other respected members of the Managing Committee, and Principal Prof. (Dr.) Pooja Prashar appreciated the efforts of the Punjabi Department and the Department of Mass Communication and Video Production for organizing this thoughtful activity.
