PCM S.D College for Women, Jalandhar Organizes Essay Writing Competition (03-10-2022)
Commemorating the birth anniversary of the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhiji, an Essay Writing Competition was organized by the Amrita Pritam Sahitya Sabha (Punjabi Department) of PCM S.D College for Women, Jalandhar on the topic "Ahinsa Ke Pujari: Mahatma Gandhi" About fifteen students from different streams participated enthusiastically in this competition and wrote essays on Mahatma Gandhi's life, personality and ideology. In this competition, Pooja of B.A Semester V got first position, Geetika and Loveleen of B.A Semester V got second position and Mamata Walia and Preeti of B.A Semester I secured the third position. The winning students in this competition were awarded with prizes. President Naresh Kumar Budhia ji, other honorable members of the Management Committee and the worthy Principal Prof. (Dr.) Pooja Parashar ji congratulated the winners and appreciated the efforts of the Department of Punjabi for conducting such events for the all-round development of students.
